Senior Auditor – Not for Profit Experience

 

Position Description:

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading full service certified public accounting and consulting firm.  The firm, based in Atlanta, offers a highly personalized service to a broad range of clients from entrepreneurs, mid-sized and large private companies, small public companies, not for profit entities both locally and around the globe.  Services include tax, auditing and assurance, business consulting, valuation, and international services.

 

The firm is currently seeking a senior/audit manager whose client responsibilities will be working with mid-sized companies and organizations.  Experience working with non-profit, not-for-profit, governmental, HUD and A133 engagements is highly desired. 
 

Responsibilities:

As part of the audit team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

 
 
  1. Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations.

  2. Preparing all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy.

  3. Developing an understanding of client's business, and becoming a "functional expert" in the area. Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients.

  4. Keeping abreast of latest developments and ensuring professional development through ongoing education.

  5. Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise.

  6. Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.  

 

 

Requirements :

·         5+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm

·         Public accounting experience must be recent

·         BS Accounting

·         CPA

·         Non-profit, not-for-profit, governmental, HUD and A133 engagements highly desired. 

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Self starter

Position Description:

The firm is currently seeking a Senior Manager SEC Auditor who will be responsible for complex audit engagements as well as supervising audit team members. 

 

It would be highly desirable if the successful candidate were fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written.  Ultimately, the individual could lead the firm’s China practice.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage, direct, and monitor client service teams on multiple engagements

• Plan, execute and complete external audits in a wide variety of industries.

• Understand and manage firm risk on audits.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Position Overview:  
The Director of Engineering is responsible for managing the development

and maintenance of the suite of applications as well as responding

to new business initiatives.  Responsible for building highly

scalable web and mobile applications.

 

Under the guidance of the Chief Technology Officer, he/she helps

set the strategic direction for the use of information technology

at the company, providing management, technical expertise, direction,

# Marketing Analyst – Benefits Company

 

This position is responsible for client insurance premium analysis, multiple insurance carrier quotes, extensive spreadsheet creation, client presentation materials and interaction between clients, management and insurance carriers.

This job requires attention to detail, ability to learn and retain nuances of several different health insurance companies and the ability to negotiate with insurance carrier personal to create the most advantageous offerings to clients.

Job Responsibilities:

Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage prospect quoting and presentation documents
• Know and understand coverage options of each carrier
• Maintain process for quoting new business and renewal prospects including the ability to manage to required timeline
• Develop a good understanding of matching benefits as well as recommending alternative plans
• Ability to internally maintain an organized work plan to facilitate meeting delivery deadlines
• Develop a relationship with insurance carrier reps and account managers to negotiate renewal and new business rates
• Maintain master carrier spreadsheets based on current plan designs
• Understanding of available carrier reports to assist in presentations
• Create accurate, up-to-date client meeting materials
• Manage the process and procedures checklist making appropriate changes as the development of the end product changes
• Maintain the master sales presentation to prepare final product for delivery
• Maintain the master employee booklet and prepare booklets by client for employee meetings
• Update carrier informational pieces as needed to be inserted in employee booklets and presentations
• Update employer and employee enrollment material as needed and stored on server
• Make changes to GBS with updates to clients, updates to benefits, updates to carriers timely
• Work with other staff members to share information to update internal and external records timely, i.e. passing on changes to carriers, updating server and GBS, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Bilingual a plus
• 4 plus years experience in the benefits arena a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Computer skills to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Data Base Management
• Project management skills a plus
• Self-motivated, detail and results oriented
• Good listener and self-confidence
• Work collaboratively

A Consultant (Contractor) needed for 9-12 months to lead the merger of finance operations for an Atlanta-based Fortune 500 company who has recently acquired a company in Sweden.  The Consultant will provide assistance supporting the CFO based in Atlanta and who oversees world-wide operations.
