"The UGA at Oxford Program would like to thank the BABG for their generous gift of $5,000 towards providing assistance for students studying abroad during 2009-10. These funds will be awarded competitively on the basis of financial need and academic excellence to students studying in the fields of International Business, International Politics, and International Relations. Despite the current state of the economy, more UGA students are interested in the programs in Oxford, and in larger numbers than ever they are requesting scholarship funding. The generosity of the BABG, along with our other supporters, will allow us to supplement the deficit in endowed scholarship accounts and award assistance and funding to students who would otherwise have been victims of economic climate, very likely unable to study abroad during their academic careers."
